Grant Regan Stein, 64, passed away, July 16, 2026, at OU Medical Center of Oklahoma City. Grant was born May 18, 1962, in Oklahoma City, to Kenneth Royce and Judy (Duncan) Stein. He was reared and educated in Harrah, graduating with the class of 1981. He served in the United States Marine Corps for three years. He married Kim Kelsey, the couple had two children daughter Kelsie Stein and son Shane Stein. The couple later divorced.

Grant had several occupations throughout the years, Nicoma Park Policeman, Oklahoma County Bounty Hunter, carpenter and truck driver. He worked for Nicoma Park Lumber and Forrest Lumber as a delivery driver and finally as a tow truck driver. Many of these occupations were fitting for him, because he always had a great love of vehicles and building things with his hands.

He is preceded in death by his mother Judy Casselberry, father Kenneth Stein; brother Jeff Stein and step-father Lloyd “Sonny” DesCombes.

Survivors include his daughter Kelsie and husband Branten Eckhart; son Shane and wife Katie Stein; mother Thelma DesCombes; brothers Bryan and wife Gena Stein, Rance and wife Paula Stein; sister Carmella and husband Jeff Kelly; step-sister Faith and husband Dennis Rayburn; and step-brother Lloyd, II, “Chip” and wife Veronica DesCombes; and best friend Ivan Pena.

Graveside services are scheduled for 3:00 p.m. Sunday, July 26, 2026, at Memory Lane Cemetery of Harrah. Pastor Jeremy Marler will officiate.

Cremation has been affected.
