Lacey “Sissy” Dawn Cothran, 43, of Harrah passed away on Monday, June 22, 2026, at OU Medical Center in Oklahoma City.

Sissy was born November 18, 1982, in Midwest City to Lisa Ann Jones. She was reared and educated in Jones, graduating from Jones Highschool in 2001. She later attended University of Central Oklahoma for Biology and later worked at OUMedical Center as a laboratory technician.

She met Michael Cothran while working for Rocky’s Gas Station, they later married on October 22, 2008, in Wellston. The couple made their home in Harrah. Sissy was a homemaker and enjoyed taking trips with her family. She was also a devoted wife and mother who loved sewing, was an avid reader, and loved to be outdoors taking care of the property and her chickens.

She was preceded in death by her grandfather Billy Hegi, and uncle Tony Jones, and a cousin David “Little Man” Nelson.

Those left to mourn her passing and honor her memory include her husband Mike; daughters Allison “Allie”, Teagan, and a son Ashton all of the home; mother Lisa Jones of Shawnee; half-brothers Austin Smith of Shawnee, Christopher Smith of California; and grandmother Mary Hegi of Jones.

Friends may pay their respects from 3pm to 8pm Sunday, June 28, 2026, with the funeral service at 10:00 a.m. Monday, June 29, in the Asa Smith Funeral Chapel. Burial will follow at the Jones I.O.O.F. Cemetery in Jones.
