Mary Darlene Geissler (Manek) passed peacefully from this life in her husband’s arms on August 6, 2026, at their home in Harrah. Darlene was born on May 14, 1940, in Harrah as the oldest of their three children.

Darlene lived a life filled with love, kindness, faith, and unwavering devotion to her family. She had a fierce protective spirit for those that she loved. She’ll always be remembered as the “Garage Sale Queen” & a collector of everything. Whether she was running Granny Boutique or arriving first at every Thursday morning garage sale, she found joy in the simple treasures of life. Her love for bling, sun visors, and an ice-cold Dr Pepper never went unnoticed.

Darlene married the love of her life and high school sweetheart, Louis Geissler. Together they shared 67 wonderful years of marriage, building a home filled with laughter, unconditional love, and countless cherished memories. Their love was a beautiful example of lifelong commitment and devotion.

She leaves behind her devoted husband, Louis Geissler; her loving children, Marie and Jack Warren, Sonya LeMaster, Kevin and Bonnie Geissler, and Rena Geissler. She was a proud and devoted grandmother to six grandchildren, a treasured great-grandmother to fourteen great-grandchildren, and a beloved great-great-grandmother to six great-great-grandchildren. Her family was the greatest joy of her life, and she loved each of them deeply.

She is preceded in death by her beloved parents, Tom and Stella Manek, and her two brothers, Tommy and Everette Manek, who welcomed her home with open arms.

Darlene’s life was a beautiful example of love and selflessness. While she will be deeply missed every day, her legacy will live on through the family she cherished and the lives she touched.

Friends may greet the family 5:00 p.m. to 8:00 p.m. Tuesday evening at the funeral home.

A celebration of Darlene’s life will be held on Wednesday, August 12th at 11am at Asa Smith's Memorial Chapel. Burial will follow in Lutheran Cemetery near Wellston.
