Patricia Ann Farmer, of Shawnee, Oklahoma, passed away on September 2, 2026, at the age of 84.
Patricia was born on April 30, 1942, in Clifton, Colorado, to Albert and Frances (Garrison) Collins. She spent her childhood growing up in the Clifton and Palisade areas of Colorado. In the 1970s, Patricia and her family made the move to Oklahoma, where she built a life centered around family, faith, and hard work.
Throughout her working years, Patricia was employed for many years with T.J. Murphy and later with Walmart. She was a dedicated worker who took pride in the responsibilities entrusted to her.
Away from work, Patricia enjoyed the simple things that brought her happiness. She could often be found working on a jigsaw puzzle or crocheting, patiently creating something one piece or stitch at a time. Above all, Patricia treasured her family. Her grandchildren, great-grandchildren, and great-great-grandchild brought tremendous joy to her life, and the time she was able to spend with them was especially meaningful.
Patricia’s faith was an important part of her life. She was faithful to her church family at New Beginnings Church and found strength, fellowship, and comfort through her faith.
Patricia was preceded in death by her parents, Albert and Frances Collins; her husband, Everett Farmer; her son-in-law, Kevin Renard; and her four brothers, Darrell Collins, Lawrence Collins, Robert Collins, and Victor Collins.
Those left to cherish Patricia’s memory include her son, Lawrence Farmer and his wife, Margi; three daughters, Lalana Renard, Loretta “Jo” Mears and her husband, Lonnie, and Frances Lynn Misenhimer and her husband, Bill; numerous grandchildren and great-grandchildren; one great-great-grandchild; and a host of extended family members and friends.
