Paul Douglas Reising, 62, of Harrah, passed away, Tuesday, September 22, 2026, at Mercy Hospital. Paul was born on May 2, 1964, in Ohio.

Paul began his adult life by serving his country in the United States Army for 7 years. While in the Army, he was stationed at Fort Sill, OK and Peden Barracks in Wertheim, Germany where he maintained and operated heavy rocket artillery platforms.

In 1985 he went on his first date with the love of his life, Julie Pufpaff, and the couple later married on May 21, 1988, in the New Post Chapel at Fort Sill, OK. They made their home in Ohio where Paul pursued his Bachelor of Science in Electrical Engineering at the University of Akron. After graduation, they moved to Cassopolis, Michigan where they started their family and welcomed their children, Dalton and Rachel, into the world. They moved to Harrah, OK in 2008, where Paul swiftly became a pillar in his community. Working as a licensed Professional Engineer for 24 years, Paul used his talent to help construct and renovate local facilities such as Integris Heart Tower, Mercy Hospital and Integris Hospital, as well as many others.

Paul was a driven soul, dedicated partner, and loving father and grandfather who had a passion for knowledge. Anyone who knew Paul would experience his kindness; he had never met a stranger and was always willing to lend a helping hand. He spent his free time working on his many projects, learning about the world, and spending time with his wife and family. He lived his life to the fullest and filled his days with humor and joy.

He is survived by his loving wife, Julie Pufpaff Reising, his son and daughter-in-law Dalton and Jessica Reising, and his daughter and son-in-law 1st Lt Rachel Reising (USAF) and Kevin Cossey. He is also survived by his two granddaughters Willow Reising and Sheyanne Cossey.

In lieu of flowers the family suggests a donation be made to the American Red Cross Hero Care Network.

Memorial services are scheduled for 10:30 a.m. Thursday, October 1, 2026, at the Asa Smith Memorial Chapel of Harrah, OK.
