Amanda Rene' Luman

September 29, 1982 — October 17, 2025

Amanda Rene’ Luman was born on September 29, 1982, in Oklahoma City to Tim and Janice (Crow) Luman. This was a special day as it was her Big Momma and Paw Luman’s anniversary. They lovingly called her Suggie Woogie. She was born with beautiful auburn red hair and green eyes. At the age of 43, Amanda went into Jesus arms in the early morning hours of October 17, 2025, after battling Stage 4 cervical cancer. During this battle Amanda relied on her faith and belief in Jesus for comfort and reassurance. She was so blessed to have so many prayer warriors who continued to pray for her. Our prayer for healing did not happen but we have the assurance she is with our Lord and Savior, Jesus Christ.

Amanda lived and attended school in Harrah, OK, all her life. Her greatest gift and love was her son, Jackson Dale Lemons. She was blessed to see Jackson marry the love of his life, Cheyenne Nicole Cooper, in June 2025.

She so enjoyed singing. At age 2 she started singing with her Big Momma in church. There was one time she was visiting her grandparents’, Jack and Wanda (Morris) Crow’s home on the farm and before going to Church that morning Amanda stood out on the porch and sang opera, she was just a young girl. Our family was talking about her doing this and one of the neighbors who lived a couple of miles away heard us talking. He went to Amanda and told her he was outside that morning and heard the most beautiful opera song. This made Amanda happy. One of her very best times of singing karaoke was a 4th of July week at her Uncle Scott and Aunt Cheryl’s home east of Geronimo. She had so much fun singing with her Crow cousins. Amanda loved wearing Cheeta print, false eyelashes and costume jewelry. She had a contagious laugh and crazy sense of humor. She kept you entertained.

Prior to being diagnosed with cancer, Amanda worked as a CNA for several years and really loved her job. She loved her niece’s Madilyn and Evelyn and her nephew Carson so much. Her special love was our dog, Shorty. He brought so much comfort to Amanda during her illness.

Amanda was preceded in death by her grandparents Charles Douglas and Zena Evelyn (Rankin) Luman, Grandfather Emery Jack Crow and her long-time friend Kaleb Steicek

Amanda is survived by her son Jackson Lemons and wife Cheyenne, Harrah OK, her parents Timothy James and Janice Lynn (Crow) Luman, Harrah OK, sister Ashlea Dawn (Luman) Aebischer, Harrah OK, her nieces’ Madilyn Grace Aebischer, Evelyn June Smith and nephew Carson Grant Smith all of Harrah OK. Grandmother Wanda June (Morris) Crow, Geronimo OK. Her special friend/second mom, Carol Patnaude and her husband Greg of Harrah OK, Shorty, her grand-dogs, River and Dutton and many aunts, uncles, cousins and friends.
