Cortney Nicole Croney

Cortney Nicole Croney, 27, of Newalla, died Monday, in the result of a car accident. Cortney was born June 27, 1997, in Oklahoma City, to Lottie Hazlewood. She was raised in Harrah for most of her childhood by Joseph and Robin Hazlewood until age 14 and then finished out her childhood with Haley and Mason Landreth. Cortney was educated in McLoud attending McLoud schools, graduating from McLoud high school in 2015. Cortney loved to hang out with family, friends, and her beloved Athena. Cortney cherished her role as an Aunt to all her nieces and nephews. She also enjoyed attending church and work. She attended Harrah Church while growing up and Life Church in Oklahoma City in the last few years. She had worked for the Oklahoma lottery and later as a bartender at Ballers and Klutch.

Those left to mourn her passing include her mother Lottie; adoptive parents Joe and Robin Hazlewood; siblings, Haley and husband Mason Landreth, Brandi and husband Jared Bryan, all of Newalla, Megan and husband Roy Shinn, Chantze and wife Arielle Croney of Oklahoma, Mason Hazlewood of Newalla, Lacey Cox of Yukon, Tori Hazlewood of Shawnee; grandparents Karen Croney of Yukon, Alvin Hazlewood of Wanette; and an uncle Monte Hazlewood of Edmond.

A memorial service will be held 2 PM Friday, February 7, 2025, at Harrah Church, the corner of Reno and Dobbs in Harrah. Pastor Michael Farris will officiate. Cremation has been affected.
