Dean Alan Johnson

Dean Alan Johnson was born March 9, 1960, in Storm Lake, Iowa, and died August 3, 2025, in Oklahoma City, Oklahoma from cancer. After graduation from high school, he entered the U.S. Air Force as a Logistician and served over 20 years. His overseas assignments included RAF Bentwaters England, Prince Sultan AB Saudi Arabia, and Kunsan AB South Korea. Upon retirement from the U.S. Air Force at Tinker AFB, Dean spent over 20 years with Boeing with his last duties as a Program Manager. He received a master’s degree in management from Webster University.

He was preceded in death by his wife of 35 years, Kim, his parents, Mayford and Eileen Johnson; his sisters Diane Nehring and Rosalie Nehring.

He is survived by his wife Galina, son Mitchell Johnson and daughter Kathleen Johnson; sisters Sheryl Anderson, Connie Roiche and Kathy Hawkins; and two grandchildren

The Family invites friends to join them 2:00 p.m. Friday, August 8, 2025, at the Asa Smith Funeral Service Chapel for Military Honors followed by a time of fellowship and sharing of memories of Dean.
