On November 30th, 2025, the world lost a beloved soul, Debbie Lumry of Harrah, Oklahoma.
Born on October 2nd, 1962, Debbie lived a life filled with love, laughter, and adventure. Debbie was a devoted wife to Mike Lumry, whom she married on July21, 2000. Together, they raised two wonderful children, Ryan Wilder and Brandon Wilder. Debbie has four grandchildren Ian, Landon, Leighton, and Lane. Debbie lived a life filled with love, laughter, adventure and a love for reading her Bible every day! Debbie is survived by her Mother Shirley Woods of Mi. Two sisters Ronda Bosco and Cindy Carlson, two brothers, Ronnie Woods and Rocky woods.
Debbie was a force to be reckoned with. She proudly served in the Air Force, dedicating herself to protecting her country and those she loved. Her bravery and determination were an inspiration to all who knew her. When she wasn't busy serving her country, Debbie enjoyed spending time in her garden, cultivating beautiful flowers and delicious vegetables. Her green thumb was unmatched, and her gardens were a sight to behold. Debbie loved to learn and did so exceptionally well. She earned her master’s degrees in international business and world economics later in life and she was well on her way to earn her doctorate when cancer struck. She loved to go riding with Mike on his Harley/Davidson and enjoyed boating on lakes all over Oklahoma and the Ozarks. She and Mike enjoyed making new friends at every lake they visited. Debbie was also a skilled martial arts instructor and deeply enjoyed sharing her passion for martial arts with her many young students.
Tragically, Debbie's life was cut short by cancer. Despite this devastating disease, she faced each day with courage and grace, never once losing her infectious smile or positive attitude.
Debbie Lumry may no longer walk among us, but her spirit will live on in the hearts of all who were fortunate enough to know her. Her legacy of love, strength, and compassion will continue to inspire generations to come.
A Celebration of life will be held 10:00 a.m. Saturday, December 20, 2025, at the Choctaw Road Baptist Church of Choctaw.
