Jeremy Adam Johns

Jeremy Adam “JJ” Johns, our beloved husband, father, son, brother, cousin, uncle and friend passed away December 29, 2025, at the age of 50. He was born, June 5, 1975, in El Reno, to Vickie (House) and Wilbur Johns. He was raised in Yukon alongside his younger brothers and one sister.

Jeremy graduated from Yukon High School in 1994, and enlisted in the military, He proudly served the United States Air Force and the Army National Guard dedicating himself to the protection of his country and those he loves until receiving his honorable discharge in 2007.

Jeremy had a big personality and could get a smile from anyone in his path, especially with his crazy impressions. He was a jack-of-all-trades, an EMT, plumber, mechanic, tow-truck driver, truck driver, transportation director, and veteran. He loved to make homemade torches and big fires that usually got the fire department called, but his biggest passion was his family.

Jeremy married the love of his life, Gina, on July 19, 2002, and she gave him his most precious treasures, their children: Ryan Adam, Maeci Jo-Donne and Cameron Mathew.

Survivors include his wife of 23 years Gina, of the home, sons Ryan and Cameron; daughter Maeci, all of Harrah; mom and step-dad Vickie and Tony Kyzer of Yukon; brothers Matt and wife Kim of Choctaw, Brad and wife Sara of Oklahoma City, Craig of Oklahoma City, Shawn and husband Adrian of Spain; sister Sara and wife Kathleen of Bethany; father-in-law Wayne Miller, sister-in-law Ryanna Cisshe; nephews Josh, Hunter and Jack; nieces Emily, Kaitlyn, Janessa, and Everlee, and a host of cousins and many, many friends.

He was preceded in death by his father Wilbur and stepmom Liz Johns; grandfathers FA Britton, Dallard House and Melvin Johns, grandmothers Shirley House and Nettie Britton; and mother-in-law Janet Miller

Jeremy may no longer walk among us, but his spirit will live on in the hearts of those fortunate enough to have known him. His legacy of love for his family, strength, and compassion can help us through the rough days ahead and let us find solace in knowing this is not goodbye but, See You Later.

Friends may come and pay their respects Friday 1:00 p.m. to 8:00 p.m. at the funeral home.

Celebration of life services are scheduled for 2:00 p.m. Saturday, January 3, 2026, at the Asa Smith Memorial Chapel at Asa Smith Funeral Service in Harrah.
