Karson Shane Ireland

Karson Shane Ireland, age 5, of Bethel Acres, Oklahoma, passed away on May 30, 2025, in Bethany, Oklahoma, after a courageous year-long battle with cancer. He was born on February 19, 2020, in Midwest City, Oklahoma, to Kristopher Shane Ireland and Brittany Nycole McDaniels.

Karson was a joyful, bright light in the lives of all who knew him. He brought laughter, love, and energy wherever he went. A devoted little brother that loved nothing more than playing with his siblings—Grace, Kenslee, Braelynn, Jaxon, and Braxton. Whether he was running around the yard, racing his favorite toy trucks, or laughing during a round of Uno, Karson’s enthusiasm was infectious.

He had a special fondness for fishing, cherished country music, and enjoyed spending quiet moments with his favorite TV shows—Bluey and Paw Patrol. His admiration for Spiderman was endless, as was his imagination when playing with his beloved dinosaurs and trucks.

Karson showed tremendous strength, bravery, and spirit throughout his illness, facing each day with resilience beyond his years. He was truly a blessing to his family and everyone who had the honor of knowing him. His memory will forever be held close in countless hearts.

He is survived by his loving parents, Kristopher Shane Ireland and Brittany Nycole McDaniels; his siblings, Grace, Kenslee, Braelynn, Jaxon, and Braxton; his great-grandparents, Toni Bean, Susan Martin, Sammy and Patricia Heath, and Valerie Duncan, Joy and Paul Pyle; his grandparents, Kristy and John Pyle, Michael and Sharon Ireland, Sheila Martin, and David and Debbie McDaniels. Karson is also survived by numerous aunts, uncles, cousins, extended family, and friends who adored him.

He was preceded in death by his great-grandparents, David Martin, Bill McDaniels, Pat McDaniels, Richard Bean, and Donald Duncan.
