Kendreth Steele Wilson, Oklahoma City, OK, age 88, was born on August 22, 1926, in Wellington, Texas. He was the son of Luther & Ruth (Darnell) Wilson. He left this life on Friday, June 26, 2015, in Oklahoma City, OK. Ken was a Navy veteran, he joined when he was only 17. After completing his service duty, he worked as a mechanic at Tinker AFB. Later on he was employed by Jack Griffin at a Conoco station and Mobile Home Transport Co. and that is where he met his future wife, Aileen Metheny Bond. They were married January 14, 1956 and together they had 3 sons and 1 daughter. Steve, Tony, Larry & Nita. They were blessed with 7 grandchildren and 4 great-grandchildren. Ken was a loving family man and next to his family he loved to fish and deer hunt. He was a good man and all that knew him loved and respected him. We will all miss him so very much. Ken was preceded in death by his parents, wife, and 2 brothers, Bill and Howard Wilson. He is survived by 3 sons & daughter-in-law, Steve & Kathy Wilson, Tulsa, OK, Tony Wilson, Oklahoma City, OK, Larry Bond, Tulsa, OK; daughter & son-in-law, Nita & Richard Arnold, Sand Springs, OK; 7 grandchildren; 4 great-grandchildren; 5 nephews and many other relatives and friends. Services will be 2:00 PM, Thursday, July 2, 2015, at the Asa Smith Memorial Chapel, Harrah, OK. Interment will follow at Arlington Memory Gardens, Midwest City, OK. Services are under the direction of Smith~Parks Funeral Service in Harrah, OK
