Margaret Kay Lynch

Margaret Kay Lynch, 67, of Mcloud, entered into her heavenly home on Friday October 31, 2025, at her sisters’ home in Choctaw, OK. She was born January 10, 1958, in Madill, OK to Delmas LeRoy Cox and Margie Frances (Erwin) Cox. She was reared and educated in Jones, OK. Margaret was brought up being a part of a large family. Having 6 sisters and 2 brothers there were always stories to be told. Sitting around with her sisters and talking was one of her most favorite ways to spend her day.

Margaret married David Lynch on September 30, 1984, in Choctaw, OK. They shared 18 years of marriage before David’s passing in 2002. Margaret was a stay-at-home mom to her four children. She was a loving daughter, sister, wife, mother, grandmother, and friend. She had a passion for being outdoors. She loved gardening and bird watching. She spent most of her days just sitting and enjoying her front porch view with her late son Lucas. Margaret also loved to sing, and she was always very good at it. Many family gatherings were spent with a karaoke machine nearby. In her younger years with her husband David, Margaret loved to go camping at Lake Murray. She cooked and catered to her family while soaking up as much sun as she could.

She was preceded in death by her Husband David Brian Lynch of Mcloud, OK, Son Jack “Lucas” Lynch II of McLoud, OK. Her parents Delmas and Margie Cox of Choctaw, OK, and Brothers Gerald Cox of Jones, OK and Delmas “Junior” Cox of Kingston, OK.

She is survived by her daughters Christie Baker of Choctaw, OK, Jo Dawn Degiusti of Edmond, OK, Jenny Wise and Husband Joe Wise of Choctaw, OK; 8 grandchildren and 4 great grandchildren. Sisters Linda McLemore of Midwest City, OK, Delma Heath and Husband Lloyd Heath of McLoud, OK, Mary Nichols of Wellston, OK Yevona Frantz of Choctaw, OK, Patricia Weant of Kingston, OK, Tammy Johnson and Husband Eddie Johnson of Kingston, OK.

Friends come a pay their respects from 1:00 p.m. to 8:00 p.m. Thursday at the funeral home.

Funeral services are scheduled for 2:00 p.m. Friday, November 7, 2025, at Asa Smith Funeral Service Chapel in Harrah. Burial will follow in Riverside Cemetery in McLoud.
