Terri Sue Bacon

Terri Sue Bacon, 76, of Newalla, passed away Saturday, November 22, 2025, with her family by her side. Terri was born January 3, 1949, in Oklahoma City, to Artie D. and Lillian L. (Caswell) Griffith. She was reared and educated in Oklahoma City, attending Southeast High School.

Terri married Dennis Bacon on April 27, 1970, and made their home in Harrah. Terri studied and became a licensed beauty operator for several years before studying phlebotomy and insurance coding and then working for Dr. Cary Lacefield for 35 years. Terri loved having a family and being a wife, mother and grandmother. She and Dennis enjoyed time at the lake camping and dinner dates to Cattleman’s in Oklahoma City.

She was preceded in death by her parents and brothers Artie and Mike Griffith

Survivors include her husband of 56 years Dennis of the home; sons, Brad Bacon of Choctaw, Dennis, Jr. of Harrah and daughter Denita Chambers of Choctaw; brothers Bobby Joe Aldridge of Moore, Jerry Gene Griffith of Oklahoma City, Larry D. Griffith of Tuttle, Gary L Griffith of Moore, John Griffith of Norman; sisters Patricia Ann Williams and Linda Griffith of Norman; grandchildren Corey James Bacon and Wife Keri Bacon, Brooke Elizabeth and husband Matthew Martin; Katelynn Renee and husband Mack Powell, Gabe Solomon; and Saige Bacon. 5 Great-grandchildren Braylon and Boston Martin, Ryker and Tatum Powell, And Paisley Bacon.

Celebration of Life services are scheduled for 1:00 p.m. Saturday, November 29, 2025, at Asa Smith Funeral Service Chapel.

Cremation has been affected.
